We made this balm to soothe dry skin and lock in moisture. We were looking for something that works for psoriasis for SBT and eczema for Tia. These dry skin conditions run in the family and flare up at times. We spent years looking for something natural that works well. The doctors recommendations were petroleum based, didn’t work for us and Tia was allergic to it.Petroleum based didn’t feel right to  us either. After a lot of experimenting with different recipes, including tallow, coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil and many more natural ingredientss we found that this is the recipe that  works. Lanolin is the closest to our natural oil that you can find but by itself is too sticky and thick. The MCT is a really clean oil that creates the perfect texture leaving a great barrier on the skin that lasts.
